Buena Vista Theater Policies

  • All patrons, ages two and up, must have a ticket to enter the venue
  • No outside food may be brought into the venue*
  • All persons and bags are subject to search
  • The University of Texas at San Antonio is a tobacco-free campus
  • The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) recognizes its social responsibility to promote the health, well-being, and safety of UTSA students, faculty, staff, and visitors. For this reason, UTSA is a tobacco, smoke and Vape-Free campus. Smoking and the use of tobacco or Tobacco Products is prohibited in and on all University Owned and Leased Property.
  • No recording devices
  • No cameras with detachable lens and tripods
  • No hard containers including glass and vases
  • No items deemed as weapons (including pocket knives) and fireworks

*Exceptions will be made for those with disabilities, medical requirements and/or special needs.

Code of Conduct

Buena Vista Theater at The University of Texas at San Antonio is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests, both in the venue and on our campus. Guests who violate this code will be subject to ejection from the venue without refund.

Respect other guests, performers and staff.

Be responsible and aware of your behavior.

Know the Rules: Guests shall adhere to all venue and university policies, including special policies and requests from the artists and tour.

Event Management staff and performers are trained professionals. Please let them do their job.

See Something, Say Something: Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or offensive behavior to an usher, security member, UTSA officer or Buena Vista Theater Management.
