Scheduling Priorities
The Buena Vista Theater is not available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Users must how legal status, financial and technical competence, educational value and/or benefit to the university, and appropriate need. Priority is given to uses of educational value or of benefit to the community.
Scheduling priority is given to events that are sponsored by (in order):
Downtown Conference & Events
Official UTSA Departments
Registered Student Faculty Staff Organizations
Non-UTSA organizations
Determination of eligibility, programming, and priority is at the discretion of the Downtown Conference & Events.
Community Building through Relationship Development: The Buena Vista Theater will be managed as a true pillar of the UTSA Downtown Initiatives innovatively facilitating affordable methods for all non-profit organizations to improve their viability through use of the venue.
